These simulators imitate space environment factors and allow to feel the state of overloading, weightlessness and space vacuum. You will not only be able to see these simulators, but also to try to pass the space training.
Vyhod-2 Simulator
Vyhod-2 simulator allows to practice spacewalk skills without leaving the ground. This machine doesn’t need water environment, but one should have a special space suit.
During this training you will become familiar with the space suit device and learn to regulate it, you will be able to perform some basic operations and a number of common tasks that are associated with access to the surface of another planet.
Two people can participate in training simultaneously.
Soyuz-TMA Simulator
Soyuz-TMA Simulator allows to imitate all necessary space ship systems and its movement. It is intended to prepare the crew to guide the Soyuz-TMA space ship. It simulates rendezvous, incoming, docking, undocking, connection with the International Space Station, orbital injection, descent from orbit and landing with final processing operations.
This simulator is a real space ship. Exactly the same ones fly to the International Space Station. Thus you will be able to feel like an astronaut in outer space.
Two people can participate in training simultaneously
Don-Soyuz-TMA Simulator
Don-Soyuz-TMA Simulator imitates rendezvous and docking of the Soyuz space ship to the International Space Station. The simulator provides a simulation of all relevant space ship systems and is designed for manual control training.
In addition, Don-Soyuz-TMA and Don-Soyuz-TMA-2 simulators are designed for the International Space Station emergency escape practicing. All the crew simultaneously leaves the International Space Station on two ships (two simulators are working synchronously).
The simulator is equipped with video surveillance means and health monitoring test.
Centrifuge CF-7 Simulator
Centrifuge DF-7 is used to test human overloading endurance. The radius of rotation is 7 meters.
This centrifuge is for one person. There is a special lever with which a person can specify different types of overloading and and operate the machine. A group of doctors keep an eye on an examinee with the help of an electrocardiogram, pneumogram, body temperature survey etc. In addition, this test is supported by two-sided voice and video communication system.
Centrifuge CF-18 Simulator
Centrifuge CF-18 is used to test human overloading endurance. The radius of rotation is 18 meters.
There is a cabin designed for two people in the centrifuge CF-18. It is free fixed in the gimbals suspension. After an examinee takes place in the cabin, they apply medical sensors on him. He has a special switch tool that he can use if he suddenly feels unwell. He will unclasp his hand, and the centrifuge will stop. During the experiment doctors monitor the physical state of the examinee via a camera and a microphone.
Two people can participate in training simultaneously.
Sokol Rescue space suit
Sokol rescue space suit is a light one, it weighs only 10 kg. All astronauts put on this space suit on board the spacecraft in case of depressurization. From the ability to put on and take off the suit, to independently process of sealing and to control his systems an astronaut’s life and health may depend.
During the training not only the theory of how to deal with the space suit will be explained to you, but also you will be able to apply this knowledge in practice. You will get lots of impressions and photos with you wearing real Sokol Space suit.
Before training you will pass medical examination, including dermatologist inspection
Space food
The Space food simulator is intended for teaching astronauts how to eat in the orbit, where there weightlessness sets its own rules.
Even a usual meal requires certain skills: for example, canned food should be removed from the container, preheat in special slotsin the table, and eat using spoons with long handles.
It’s much more difficult to deal with liquid food and drinks. The package containing the dehydrated product is to be attached to a special unit. After you press the button, certain amount of water will be absorbed in the product. In several minutes it will be ready, but it should be eaten only from the package.
The Space food simulator provides an opportunity to learn how to warm up tin cans, fill dehydrated food with water and, of course, you will be welcome to taste it! |
