Excursion to Kyzyl, the capital of Tuva, is a chance to tour the Geographical Center of Asia. This is followed by a visit to a Buddhist temple where tourists will hear a sermon by the temple’s lama. The main part of the daily program is a visit to the Shaman clinic*. Lunch in the restaurant of Kyzyl, where traditional dishes of Tuvan cuisine are cooked especially for guests. Then visit the National Museum of Tuva, the souvenir shop and the design shop of the national dress of Kyzyl. On the way back, the group will have the opportunity to visit a genuine nomad’s yurt. Observing and understanding the daily life of a Tuvan family is always a very memorable experience for our guests.

Travel to mineral spring Arjaan Shiviling (420km). Guests are urged to enjoy the “sainted water, mineral water, and curative spring” found at Arjaan Shiviling.
A stop near the breathtaking Khayrakan mountain. - This is one of the most spiritually revered and respected sites in Tuva. In 1992, due to the strong energy found at the mountain, this popular destination was sanctified by the 14th Dali Lama. Once a year, the local shamans come to this mountain to revive themselves, and to strengthen and clean their spirits. Why not enjoy the opportunity to find your own reawakening!
Lunch on the grass, in the company of the ancient "Seven Sisters" ; the centuries-old larch trees which grow from only one root.

Transfer to Kyzyl. Visiting the monument to Ghengis-Khan*. Later, enjoy a stop at the Syn-Chureck mountain. Native people call this site, “The heart of a Maral”. You’ll learn how to rub images from the mountain onto paper to take with you as rare souvenirs. Climbing the Syn-Chureck mountain allows you to enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding area.
Lunch. You will get to enjoy a picnic near the foot of the mountain. After the picnic, the trip returns to Kyzyl.
Returning to yurts camp "Byi-Chem", accommodation.

Travel to Lake Tere-Khol. This is one of the most beautiful, but hidden lakes, located at an elevation of 250 km. Our trip passes through the territory of the Ubsunurskaya hollow.

Rest at the lake and enjoy swimming. Supper. On the bank of the lake the group comesto the nomad’s yurt. Acquaintance with the daily life of a Tuvan family always leaves a memorable impression on our guests.

Travel to the tourist camp “Vasilyevka”* (180 km). At “Vasilyevka” there are cozy wooden houses located on the bank of the river. To get there, tourists travel by ferry-boat, which works using the power of the river. This ferry is the only bridge between civilization and the old-believers land.

Visiting to the camp of old believers (20 км). We will travel to the river Sisim to see the daily life, rites and traditions of these unusual people.

Transfer to Kyzyl (250 km).
Visit to the large, ringed burial mound not far from the road. Near the mound there’s a deer’s stone with the image of a “flying deer”.
Lunch is held in an unusual place, the so-called “ovaa”, where Tuvan shamans hold their many rites.

Bewitching show* Guests will see the ritual blessing for health and happiness at the fire ring. This ancient ritual allowed shamans to communicate with the spirits in a truly magical ritual at the fireplace, followed by the prolonged music and singing of a man playing his tambourine. You will witness the rare occasion when several shamans take part in the same ritual together. In this purification ritual, you can plunge into meditation or, according to legend, you can make a wish and it will come true.

Breakfast, lunch in the family of old believers. Meetings with local people are always rewarding. This is a genuine trip back through time to another world with very different values and interests. The history of these settlements began in the 18th century and is still alive. In this village there is no modern transportation or other conveniences of civilization; these people live with the help of nature.
