SERGIEV POSAD (ZAGORSK) – the town was named after Saint Sergey Radonezhsky. In the XIV century he founded a monastery there that became one of the greatest in Russia. Nowadays the monastery carries the name of Trinity Lavra of St. Sergey and is considered to be "Russian Vatican". It’s a temporary residence of Russian patriarch.

EKATERINBURG - the major industrial city and transport hub of Siberia. It was founded by Catherine the Great as a fort and metallurgical factory. Ekaterinburg is the city of great historical interest: here took place the tragic murder of the whole czarist family. You'll visit the execution place of the last Russian tzar Nicholas II, Museum of Mineralogy, etc.

IRKUTSK – the center of eastern Siberia, situated on the shore of Lake Baikal. Irkutsk is a treasure house of the spiritual culture of Siberia; it is probably the only Siberian city that preserved its historical individuality: old wooden constructions, built without a single nail and decorated with skillful carving. There are about 700 monuments of history & culture here.

ULAAN-BAATAR - is situated on the Tola river at the foot of the Bogdo Khan Uul, which rises 3,000 ft (914 m) above the city. Founded in 1649 as a monastery town, Ulaan-Baatar prospered 2 centuries later beeing a commercial center on the tea route between Russia and China. It was made capital of the Mongolian republic in 1924, when its name was changed from Urga [palace] to Ulaan-Baatar. During the city tour you will visit the Buddhist Monastery, Sukhe-Bator Square, the Summer Palace and other attractions.

GOBI DESERT - one of the world's last remaining natural wilderness - it typifies and almost defines Mongolia. One major Gobi destination is the Erdenezuu Monastery - once the site of Genghis Khan's great kuriltai (”gathering of the clans”)... the tortoise statue is the only Genghis relic.
